Wonderful location with fabulous view. Great just sitting in the window watching people walk their dogs and see the tide come in. Depending on the weather, I recommend cleaning the balcony glass and doors – you might need to do this a couple of times but worth it for the view!!

Second time in this fantastic house. This is the perfect location for couples or family. Couldn’t ask for anything more – comfortable and relaxing place to stay with everything you need. We had a lovely holiday and have booked again for next year! We knew Focsle down under would be special because of the location and the view but it was more than that.

- Birkbeck Station is just 160 yards away, with trains and a tram service connecting to Beckenham Junction and East Croydon (ideal for Gatwick Express connections).
- I actually ordered mine when it was announced, a bit of a gamble I admit, but I feel Steve has done a great job and as I’m lucky enough to also own the original Nait, I can appreciate how it builds on the performance of the original.
- We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Focsle Down Under.
- We need to bring a pair of binoculars for whale and dolphin watching next time.
You need a bit of a trained eye though! A short walk to Tate, galleries and high street and handily a new grocer which saves the otherwise longer walk into town. Excellent locationSo many great restaurants close by View from living room is beautiful! A really spacious and comfortable cottage.
